Step-by-Step User Guide
Get Your Social Wall Running in 3 Minutes
Follow this guide to connect your social profiles, enable moderation, and broadcast your live wall across displays, websites, or digital signage screens.
Login
Log into the Social Wall dashboard at app.socialwall.com.au/swuser/ using your credentials. If you haven't signed up yet, start your free trial first.
Once logged in you'll see your Social Wall dashboard with all configuration tabs in the left-hand menu.
User Tab
Click on the User Tab in the left menu. Here you can update your account details — name, email address, password, and upload a custom logo for your Social Wall. Always click Submit after making changes.
General Tab
The General Tab controls the core display settings for your wall. Key options include:
- Number of Columns — Choose how many post columns display on screen (1–6).
- Responsive — When enabled, the wall automatically resizes for mobile, tablet, and desktop screens.
- Sort Order — Display posts by Newest, Oldest, or Randomly.
- Enable Social Media Account — Toggle which connected social profiles show on the wall.

Always click Submit to save any changes on this tab.
Facebook Tab
With the latest Facebook Graph API you'll need to authenticate via the "Log in With Facebook" button to display your Page posts.
Click "Log in With Facebook" and authenticate with the account that manages your Facebook Page.
Select the Facebook Page to pull posts from in the dropdown.
Press Submit to save. Contact support to increase the total post count.

Twitter / X Tab
Twitter / X integration is available on the Custom Package. Enter usernames (comma-separated for multiples). You can also filter by hashtags and block specific users.
The more posts you display, the longer images take to load. Keep total post count below 30 for fast rendering.
Instagram Tab
Instagram requires linking through your Facebook account. Your Instagram account must be a Business Account connected to a Facebook Page.
Click the Instagram Tab, then click "Log in With Facebook".
Authenticate with the Facebook account linked to your Instagram Business Account.
Select the correct Facebook Page and choose to display Profile Posts and/or Hashtag posts.
Press Submit. Enable Instagram in the General Tab to start displaying posts.

YouTube Tab
Click on the YouTube Tab. Enter the YouTube channel name(s) and configure the number of videos to display. Press Submit to save. Enable YouTube in the General Tab to activate it on your wall.
Make sure to enable YouTube in the General Tab under "Enable Social Media Account" for videos to appear on your wall.
Pinterest Tab
Click on the Pinterest Tab. Enter the Pinterest board name(s) and set the display limit. Press Submit. Enable Pinterest in the General Tab to activate it on your wall.
Hashtag Moderation
The Hashtag Moderation tab gives you a live approval queue for posts using your configured hashtags. Each post can be toggled ON (displayed) or OFF (hidden) with a single click.
Auto Refresh
Automatically refreshes the moderation list every X minutes so new hashtag posts appear without manual reload.
Display All / Off All
Instantly approve or hide every post in the queue with one click — ideal for fast-moving hashtag campaigns.
Clear Action
Resets the moderation list entirely. Useful when switching hashtags between event sessions.

Custom Posts
Inject sponsor banners, promotional messages, or event announcements directly into your Social Wall feed. Each post can contain an image, text, and a CTA button.
Click "Create Post" in the Custom Posts tab.
Upload an image, add a description, and optionally add a button label with URL link.
Set Active to "Yes" and save. The post appears in the wall feed rotation.

Words Blacklist
Enter words, phrases, or partial terms to automatically filter out of your Social Wall feed. Supports wildcards.
- Use
*as a wildcard — e.g.spam*filters "spammer", "spamming", etc. - Add
RTto remove all Twitter retweets — great for hashtag events to avoid duplicates. - Multiple words can be added on separate lines.
Display Your Social Wall
Once your profiles are connected, copy the URL or iFrame code from your dashboard:
Direct URL
Open the URL in any browser or digital signage media player for a full-screen display.
Website iFrame
Paste the iFrame code into any webpage — WordPress, Shopify, Joomla, or custom HTML.
